Spring Lawns

• TIMING:
  
  March or April, depending on weather conditions

• PROCESS:
  
  The lawn should be raked to remove all Winter debris. This will also make any matted grass stand upright and prepare it for the first cut.
  
  This first cut should be on a high setting.
  
  Apply a Spring fertiliser, moss control and selective herbicide.
  
  Consider if your lawn needs Hollow Tine Aeration, Scarification, Top Dressing or Seeding this year.

• EQUIPMENT:

• Rake
• Mower
• If Aeration or Scarification is needed, profesional petrol driven machines are best
